Role of ENHGP Voice
Improving Communication
Develop concise updates so GPs can stay informed without being overwhelmed by multiple sources.
Set up and maintain a WhatsApp community for real-time information sharing among Clinical Directors and eventually expand to PCNs as needed.
Set up a website for members to have access to all areas of interest and documents with summaries
Strengthening Democratic Decision-Making
Manage voting/polling processes for quick, collaborative input on significant issues and proposed changes.
Empower GPs already serving on various committees to represent the wider ‘GP Voice,’ supported by ENHGP’s structure and resources.
Creating a Single Point of Contact
Act as a central hub for external partners who need to engage with general practice but are uncertain whom to approach.
Coordinate with the ICB to ensure continuity when leads are unavailable and to share key meeting outcomes with GPs.
Become the default way for other system partners to interact initially with GPs as a group and for ENHGP to help ensure they speak to the right people sooner.
Remaining Agile and Responsive
ENHGP will Learn from early feedback, correct course when necessary, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Invite ongoing suggestions to help refine and develop ENHGP Voice’s scope and services.
Through these steps, ENHGP Voice aims to enhance GP engagement, avoid delays caused by misunderstandings or insufficient representation, ensure the system benefits from a genuine majority view, and improve efficiencies for all system partners
Our mission
Our goal is to provide an efficient, cost-effective platform where GPs can come together, shape decisions, and swiftly implement changes that benefit local healthcare. ENHGP Voice can concentrate on delivering a strong, unified GP perspective whilst fostering productive partnerships throughout the health system.
